    Cyclones.com interview w/Babb....

Kroeschel asks Babb what it will be like to learn from one of the greatest shooters in college and NBA history... Is that statement a bit of a stretch?

It's the Iowa State marketing department. I'm pretty sure they are going to stretch things if it favors us.

Hoiberg led the NBA in 3 point % one year though.

Not a stretch according to John Hollinger.

An NBA 3-point shot usually takes several years to develop. FH's career number would likely have continued to rise, had he not retired.

If that's the case, how high is Daniel Gibson's ceiling? He's been in the league, what, 3 years? And look how high he is on the list.

Hoiberg was one of the best sharp shooters in the league and is up on the all-time list. The first game I watched him play was when he was with the T'wolves and man did he have a heck of a game.

If the pro statement is a stretch (unless Hornacek turns up as an asst) the college statement is pretty accurate and he's got two great ones on staff.

Anytime you have the best 3pt shooting percentage in the NBA, you're one of the best shooters ever. Don't kid yourselves.

speaks for itself. I'd have to say that the marketing staff/video staff is really doing a great job. That last video really demonstrates the players can make the NBA out of ISU, and its clear that the players/recruits are paying attention to a coach who both played and managed in the NBA. I am just hopeful that buzz which will only last a few years is enough to get us back into contention where results on the court are going start mattering more on the recruiting trail.
