He got a scholarship as opposed to being a walk-on. Doesn't sound too foolish to me.

Go to Mary in ND, play, and go to school for free.

Stay at Iowa State, sit on the bench, pay for school.

    Yeah, real foolish.

    D2 is scholarship, D3 isn't.

Division II allows as maximum of 10 scholarships for Men's and Women's basketball. An institution can choose, obviously, whether to utilize all of these or not.

Division III has no scholarships for any sports.

EDIT: Here's a good chart showing the diminishing scholarship numbers for Div II:

Agreed. Univ. of Mary is the school Cameron Lee transfered to.

    Re: Colvin?

I think Colvin will go to Illinois if McCamey gets drafted. Just a gut feeling, nothing more. :)

Well McCamey pulled his name from the draft so that won't be happening. Even if it did, Colvin wouldn't go to Illinois.

My guess on Colvin is Marquette. Just a guess though.

    Re: Colvin?

I have an eery feeling that Colvin might go to Iowa. McCaffery is ridiculously silent about his recruiting, and we haven't heard a single word from Colvin. That would suck.
