    Chris Babb Video

Here is a video of Chris Babb in highschool. Looks like he can jump, dunk, shoot the trey, and drive. I like that he is athletic. I really liked watching Cllemente from Kstate last year because he could drive and shoot, part of a player like Lucca's problem was all he could do was shoot and never create his own shot. I am very excited.

I thought the scouting report on babb said he wasn't much of a take it to the hole kind of guy.

Hilton Coliseum was specifically built to hold in sound with a solid concrete structure, steel doors, and a crowd that sits just a few feet from the court. With a fan base that frequently ranks among the nations largest crowds, players from opposing teams, as well as Iowa State, have said that the floor has shaken due to the loudness of the crowd

Maybe he is but it looks like he is pretty athletic in the video.

    As did I.
If he tightens up his handle, and develops a post-up game (for a guard), he looks like he could have a big impact in 2011.

How do you think he compares to SC? He's looks to be a lot more athletic. Although I believe SC doesn't get the credit he deserves for his driving ability.

Taller, bigger, perhaps, a better shooter? From his video, he looks to be a better finisher.

I just wanted to point out you guys are evaluating him on a high school video when there is probably plenty of highlights of him competing at this level for the past two years.

    Carry on!

    I also found this funny.

Let's watch his HS video and see what type of player he is. Wait...he's already played in college...? Well, let's watch his HS video and base opinions on that anyway. Afterall, HS competition=college...where he's played.

It is still useful, given most of the other recruits for 2011 will be evaluated from their high school videos. In a way, I prefer to compare the recruits.

You watch videos in hopes of seeing how they would do in college.

Since he's already played in college...a lot...it would seem that high school video is nearly completely irrelevant. He's far, far removed from that video. It's almost completely meaningless unless Tailor Battle is in it.

You also watch to see how recruits compare to current, past, and future recruits, thus making that video relevant.
Finally, using your own logic, any video you could find on his freshmen/sophomore years at PSU will be years and a (better)conference removed from what he will be at ISU.

    That's a really terrible point.

    Re: Chris Babb Video

He looks to be a decent player but the competition level is awful. A lot of those shots he was making were wide open or over smaller less athletic players, No way to really tell much from this video IMO

"Freddie knows the game," Bird said. "I'm sure he picked up a lot of stuff over the years from different people. College is different from the NBA, but I'm sure he'll do a great job."

    Re: Chris Babb Video

For those ******** about using a HS video please post some college video of him or shut your pie hole. You can get a "sense" of his abilities from this video. Especially since nobody has supplied any college video to review.
