what CFB do you think is "America's Team"

In the NFL people always said the cowboys were America's team (which I beg to differ with). At the college level who do you think is America's team? In my opinion, I think that the Miami Hurricanes are.

Oh sorry I meant to say what CFB team

    "Miami Hurricanes" - No Way

You should watch the 30 for 30 that was done on ESPN for them. They don't have the history, and I would have to think it should be a public school.

I would go with Ohio State. Notre Dame has more championships... but again its private.

Re: what CFB do you think is "America's Team"

It used to be the U in the late 1990s and early 2000s, but now I would say it's moved to Gainesville and the University of Florida, although it's because of the god-icon that Tim Tebow seemed to become down there. I believe these next few years will see the re-emergence of Alabama as "America's Team", although don't ever count out Texas.

I agree that, like the Dallas Cowboys, those are three of the most polarizing teams in CFB.

I honestly don't know if there is an "America's Team" for CFB, as there's 120 teams to choose from, as opposed to 32 NFL teams.

However, I will say that no other team has Ricky "Love It Or Leave It" Stanzi, so I'd have to say Iowa is America's Team.

i did watch the 30 for 30. I think the canes are america's team because it shows that anyone from anywhere can make it which is what america was founded upon. Many of the players on the team have come from poor families in Dade County.

The "What have you done lately," applies here. What ever team that is winning for half a decade, and winning big, becomes America's team.

There are not many crowds or places in the country that have a better impact on the game than at Iowa State. The Cyclone fans are truly a sixth man. The place is so loud and always a fantastic crowd." - Former Kansas and current North Carolina head coach Roy Williams

Re: what CFB do you think is "America's Team"

There is a clear answer here. America's team is Army. Not only do they have a proud tradition, but they are America's team in the sense that the players are serving their country during and after their playing days.

Don't forget Navy and Air Force.

I'm not forgetting them, but if I had to pick only one team to be America's team, it would be Army due to the tradition. Although I think Navy had some good runs too back in the day.
