I'll be there with the wife and kids. Is it inside the US Cell Center?

I'm going but have to wait for the wife to get off work at 6. Hopefully nobody goes to the mall by mistake.

    Re: Cedar Rapids tailgate tour

Was there with my buddy (who is a Hawk fan, but we dressed him in Cyclone) and my brother...well, he was there at least. Overall, really cool to hear the coaches talk. You could feel the enthusiasm for The Mayor when he got up on the stage which is very encouraging. They are really going to ride Coach Rhoads "So Proud" speech until that horse is dead.

I was incredibly disappointed in how many times Jamie Pollard referenced the Hawks. I understand you are in Cedar Rapids which is generally Hawk country, but this was a Cyclone Tailgate Tour. In my opinion, there is no reason to ever mention the Hawks at one of these things. I get it that it is Pollard's main objective to beat the Hawks in anything and everything and to be THE university in the state, but it was a bit over the top. My buddy said it best, "You wouldn't hear a peep about ISU at Fryfest because all the Iowa fans are so jacked up about everything Iowa." This tour is supposed to be about ISU.

Could not agree more. I've been to a few of these tailgate tours and all JP talks about is the Hawks it seems. It's embarrassing.
