2004 Chevy Suburban LT 2500 Autoride

Since we are lacking a marketplace forum on here still I will use off topic. I am selling one of our company vehicles and thought one of you Fanatics might be interested. Of Course I will offer you a discount if you know the words to the fight song. Here is the Craigslist posting. Thanks, CYKID

Crazy to me the number of vehicles these days with over 100K miles and are still priced at $15K plus. I guess when they start out at $50K plus....

Yes and the new ones are $58-62k at Karls and they only have the 5.3 liter engine. Crazy indeed.

Sorry if I sounded like I didn't think it was worth it. I'm sure it's worth the price you're asking. I think it just goes to show how much more reliable vehicles have become. 20 years ago most people considered 100K miles the end of a vehicles life. Of course 20 years ago people weren't putting leather, TV's, power seats, etc in trucks and very few people would consider paying $60K for an SUV unless it said Range Rover on the hood.

None taken. I was genuinely suprised as well. I can't believe that people actually pay 60k for a vehicle. I have always viewed cars as a means between two destinations but others hold them to a much higher degree.

Re: 2004 Chevy Suburban LT 2500 Autoride

In January of 2009, my son and I both purchased new pickups at the same dealership. Both were 4 wheel drive. Mine was regular cab gas, his 4 door diesel. Mine cost exactly half what his did. Since 99% of the time they are driven with only the driver aboard, I enjoy pointing out to him that we both get to point B from point A at the same time but it cost him twice as much. The big 4 door vehicles, pickup and SUV, are complete "profit centers" for the mfg'ers. All they are doing is adding 4' to the vehicle essentially for twice the money!

We do need a market forumn. I need some crap and I'd rather buy it from a Cyclone fan.
Nothing worse than going to someone's place to buy something off craigslist and there's a dumb *** in Iowa bib overalls there to meet you at the door.

There used to be one if I remember right. But no one ever used it.
