    One Week Left

So there is one week left in the late signing period. We have 3 remaining scholarships to give out. We have a back up point guard that is a walk on and 2 unproven small forwards that haven't played a minute of college basketball. Shouldn't we be filling these scholarships with Ju Co point guards and Ju Co small forwards? Any word on if we are looking at anyone to fulfill these scholarships?

Sure we should be adding at least a PG but if a guy of Big XII caliber is not out there then the scholarship doesn't get offered.

WE are good at small forward but do need to sign a PG for depth purpose. Ejim could start a SF and we also have Oliver. Is Jeff Grayers son a PG and will he play for the Clones.

    Tryouts at Hilton tomorrow afternoon.

Maybe we can get that 22 year old 16 year old to try out now that Permian Friday Night Lights High gave him the boot.

We're waiting for the Cavs to be bounced out of the playoffs so we can offer LeBron

With one week left I doubt there are many Big 12 ready JUCOs left. Fred has said he doesnt want to give out Scholarships just to give them out.

I want to fill two. Noreen, and a trasfer (White or Gibbs) then bank one. That would be my perfect situation.

Is ISU in at all on that 22-year old high school kid? He sounds like a baller, we should sign him up.

Do we have a good shot at Royce White?

    Re: One Week Left

By the time Gibbs sits out a year and become eligible, DG will be gone. We need someone to take over the reins after Garret leaves. Is that Gibbs? Perhaps ... that is Freddy and TJ's call.

I would really like to see Gibbs stay in state. As a UNI alum, preferably UNI. However, as my username points out, I am associated with ISU, so I wouldnt be chapped if Gibbs chose the Cyclones.

Ugh, do not want. The guy was a continuous problem and distraction for Tubby, and he never even played for him.
