Hoiberg still recruits for the 2010 class, but won’t offer just to be offering.
“I look at scholarships like (salary) cap room in the NBA. Do you use it just because you have it? You use it for the right person,” Hoiberg said.
“That’s what I’m looking at for the scholarships. If I feel that it’s somebody that can help us here long term, then I’ll look at that. Or do you use it on a transfer after they sit out a year? Or do you try to get a guy who can have immediate eligibility, but who might only be here for a year?
“There’s a lot of different options. We’re not done with the class for this upcoming season.”
