Two new commits. If the 125 guy is who I think he is, he did a keg-stand at my friends house during VEISHEA along with Mitch Mueller. That was a great weekend.

    Re: New Commits

If you can do a keg stand, you can win a NCAA title in wrestling.

Or at least, that's what Patches O'Houlihan says...

I thought it was "if you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball..."

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

CyForPresident: If the 125 guy your referring to is Jensen than you were mistaken. Jensen was at a wrestling tournament and prom during VEISHEA. He also isn't the kind of kid that would be drinking let alone keg stands.

    Re: New Commits

Well, I'm mistaken then. Mitch Mueller did do one and the two recruits he was showing around did one too. Whatever, it still made my week.

    Re: New Commits

Jensen pinned all four opponents on his way to the 125-pound Class 1-A championship last winter. He finished with 126 career pins and two state titles, adding to the 103-pound golod medal he won in 2005
Is that medal better than gold? If it is.....Very Nice!

You could have been mistaken again. Wrestlers often do keg stands to cut weight. It's a very common thing.

    Re: New Commits

I know Dalton and doubt he would do anything to jeopardize
his eligibility or respectability, especially since he is completely pumped to be coming to ISU next year.

Trust me, it was them. They were free keg-stands and not to many people pass that up even wrestlers. Plus its the offseason, they really don't have to make weight unless their doing a AAU tournament or something. My friend and I talked to Mueller for about 10 minutes. He even called Justin Wren (who I've also met at a party) and told him to stop by. Needless to say we did our part in the recruiting process.

One of the coolest college experiences I've ever had.

    Re: New Commits

I think alot of the wrestlers are pretty heavy drinkers, it doesnt make you a bad wrestler especially outside of wrestling season.

I couldn't have used the word "wrestle" more in that sentence.

    Try out "grappler" or "matman"

Well if your sure it was him, then there really is no reason to blab about it to the public ear, since most wrestling recruits coming out of high school are under the legal drinking age.
