    San Diego/Carlsbad area

I am heading out there next week with the girlfriend and another couple. Obviously there are plenty of things to do but what are some nice places to go or things to see out in that area? Recommendations for golf courses are good too.

We like the La Jolla area. Rent a kayak and paddle the cove. There are some cool places to see out there. You could go for a hike at Torrey Pines. I know a great restaurant in Encinitas called Q'ero. Try it out.

How old are you? If you're college-age'ish you should check out the bar area for SDSU called PB - it's awesome!

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

    Re: San Diego/Carlsbad area

I was out there last July. The Pacific Beach area is great for college type bars and close beaches.

We went to a mexican joint in Old Town that was great - the name of the join is slipping from my memory - any of the mexican food down there is great. Make sure to get a California Burrito.

Gas Lamp district. Blacks beach in La Jolla (clothing optional). Torrey pines in La Jolla. You can check out La Jolla look at Torrey Pines through a chain link fence then Parasail or whatever you call it, off the cove and over blacks beach.

I have heard in general that the Gas Lamp district is the place to go. Not exactly sure what all is there though.

I used to live in that area at Camp Pendleton. Fun Place. Go to San Diego to hang out though. Mission and Pacific beach are the best places. Coronado is great as well.

Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

Oceanside Pier is cool as well. Bars in Oceanside suck though. Used to have Hill Street but that is gone now. Def. go to SD.

If you are there next weekend 14th-16th, Dodgers visit the Padres at Petco Park.
Right next to the Gas Lamp district.

Great stadium, serves wide variety of beers, (Microbrews).
