Most "analysts" will spend 20 seconds browsing our schedule and declare us ineligible, then move on.

How many picked us to be bowl eligible last year?

F'em and play the games on the field.

Play an easier schedule. It would be ten times more impressive if CPR could get us to a bowl game this year compared to last year, IMO. Look at KU, when they just about made national championship, then two years later when schedule switched they go 5-7.

    TCU in National Championship?
I can't believe it goes until Jan. 10th.

Have you seen our schedule? Winning 6 games this year would have been like winning 8 last year.

I agree, but we were literally 2 plays away from winning 9 (we won 7 and were right there for Kansas and K-State)...

Yep, this thread has just been pwned.

The swing games are at home this year. Most were on the road last year. Taking into account home games, the schedule this year isn't as bad as people are making it

You must mean the one post, and that guy was promptly told to stuff it.

Most of the talk in that thread is centered around the amount of love Wisconsin is getting.

+1 we will take down either Mizzou or Nebraska or both, no better homefield advantage than JT in November. KSU is like a home game, so CU on the road, we have a tough time there, but it will be close.

I dont want this to get into an ISU/Iowa deal again. Iowa will struggle to protect the QB, I see a season very similar to 2007, but they win 2-3 more games. In that season Iowa's dline was dominant but they could not protect Jake to save their lives. Iowa will be 8-4 or 9-3, thats just my prediction.

You brought up the thread on HN, so cats out of the bag on that one.

Anyway, that line (2007) gave up 46 sacks, and I shouldn't have to tell you that that isn't good. It certainly isn't dominant.

Back on topic. Way too early to tell, and a lot can happen between now and week 1.
