Significantly better than kids who were posting no rebound stat lines. It is still tough to say how impressive these stats really are at an All-Star game. And Kevin Noreen ruptured his spleen in practice? That is one tough coach....

Noreen actually ruptured his spleen in the state championship game. This article doesn't make that clear, but that's the case.

"Green played without Kevin Noreen. The 6-10 center from state Class A champion Minnesota Transitions Charter School in Minneapolis was at practice Thursday. But he went home. He ruptured his spleen in the championship game and practiced with a flak jacket. He decided the risk of playing wasn't worth it."

    You do need a spleen.

Isn't it usually the offensive stats that get inflated at these all-star games? Rebs, steals, and blocks are impressive....I think.

    Re: Godfrey Stats-Impressive!

Rebounds, steals and blocks are exactly what I like about his stats, though 15 pts in an all-star game isn't bad. I like those stats because they reflect hustle, quickness, energy and desire, all of which you need on the defensive end.

15 points is OK for an inside player in an all-star game. It usually requires a court order to get guards to give up the ball.
