    Killer Camel

Wow. That's about all I can say about this one. I have no idea how you let something like this happen.

    Re: Killer Camel

    Lesson here is:

Don't mess with a heavy horny camel.

Seriously though, that is one heck of a way to die, and the camel made sure of it, the paramedics had to move the camel of her. Yeesh.

Now don't laugh at this. I was a "First Responder" for a few years in our community. This one fella north of town had his own "Exotic Animal Farm". One day a call comes over the pager, "Camel sitting on man at xxxx address xxxx."
Sure enough, this camel was sitting on this guy and he couldn't get up. He wasn't injured, fortunately, but what is the deal with these camels? What a defensive mechanism.

I'm sorry, but I have to laugh because that is just flat out crazy, I am amazed this is a repeated incidence with the camels.

Hopefully we have learned something from these two stories.

I just made a mental note of not squatting behind a camel, or resembling anything that could be construed as a chair. This includes, but is not limited to, sitting in a chair, crouching (footstool), wearing a shirt that has chairs on it, and finally not acting like a chair and not getting out of the way of the camel.

What I've learned: I'm glad we're not facing the Campbell Camels in the second round of the mascot challenge!

Indeed. I also think we should start keeping an eye on the camels. They seem to be up to something lately . . .

    Re: Killer Camel

...sheesh, and I was seriously thinking of getting a camel for a pet. Glad I went with the elephant instead because I'd sure as hell would hate to end up a bean bag chair for some horny camel.
