Why does Andy Katz love us so much? Not that I'm complaining or anything.

Thanks for posting. A good article. And some new little nuggets from the coach which help with any concerns I have.

It's hard to balance being confident and accepting your weaknesses, but, at least in the media, Fred has certainly done that. He knows he can do it, but at the same time he knows he needs help.

7 months from his first game, I really kind of think he can get it done here!

Re: Andy Katz Blog on Hoiberg

There was talk that the national media wasn't going to be very kind to this hire, but I've been pleasantly surprised. There's been a lot of questioning, but it is fair stuff and this Katz piece is very positive.

Andy definitely writes a good, in depth article, and gives ISU a more than fair shake. Great link, thanks for sharing!

I've always thought Andy Katz was the most unbiased of any of their guys except for Bilas. Bilas just dosen't care, he will tell you what he thinks and has good takes. I like that!

Re: Andy Katz Blog on Hoiberg

I'm just glad we can get some love (or at least hope) from these guys. When I'm drinkin the ISU kool-aid thinking that we have potential in a few years it's nice that someone who has to know bball for a living agrees with me and I'm not just a complete homer lol

I think part of it his history with the Midwest instead of East or West Coast.

Good read. Andy Katz really likes us. Last year he picked us to be the most improved team in the conference.
