with 40% Latino ballplayers, should make a statement against AZ All-Star Game

Arizona's passage of a controversial anti-immigration lawcould cost the state Major League Baseball's All-Star Game

Is he saying that MLB teams does not issue work visas? With as many players from central America, one would think they have programs in place to keep them here at least during the season. I find it hard to believe that 40% of players can not "prove lawful U.S. residence when asked to provide such documentation."

One idiot after another...I love how someone from NY can comment about the boarder issues coming out of Mexico into AZ.

This will absolutely hit the cave so I'll say it - I don't think anybody has a problem with central American ballplayers. They have a problem with central Americans murdering and kidnapping in Phoenix. Believe it or not they don't have to be connected. But I'd love to see a boycott because it would further invalidate the all-star game which is basically pointless anyway.

    Replace NY with IA...

    Just kidding Bryce.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life:
The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves Orcs. ~ John Rogers
