    Hoiberg Style of Play

What style of play can we expect at Hilton Coliseum next year? I'm curious to know if he will adopt Johnny's approach or what he learned under Tim Floyd. This could go either way.

Maybe an NBA style of play.

    I'll take both...Johnny's running and Tim's in-your-face D.

Good point. I forgot Fred's year with Tim Floyd. Now I feel even better about this hire because he has Floyd to lean on. Floyd's defense + Johnny's offense = Wins.

    Re: Hoiberg Style of Play

Fred Hoiberg played under some very good coaches in the NBA

At Indiana he played for Larry Brown and Larry Bird. At Chicago he played for Tim Floyd. At Minnesota he played for Flip Saunders. That is a pretty good collection of NBA coaches.

I think you will see an up tempo NBA style from Fred which should ignite some Hilton Magic.

I was just going to ask how many set plays Freddy has.

Expect at least a few screen-for-the-screener plays. He and Hurl made a killing off of those.
