Is there a coach that everyone wants?

Nope! (OK, they say Izzo, Williams, Kzkeisahfa;dki, etc, but will JP bring them here? Nope, so back to my original intent...) It's amazing how much research you guys are doing on this. Has JP not taught you that you can't out guess him? By the time JP hires his guy you will have either set yourself up to be pissesd or at least disappointed. I can only imagine that we will sway nothing in this search whatsoever.

I wish that we could let JP make a hire, then analyze it at that time. Instead you guys will dig stuff up to either build up or knock down a candidate. And there will be negatives to ANY coach that is hired. Then when we get the announcement, some of us will look at all of the negatives and say, "Dang, that decision sucks...".

Anyway, you will do what you will, just wishing that I didn't care enough to read all the stuff you guys dig up about every candidate. It's like trying to see what Mom and Dad buy you for Christmas by looking at their credit card receipts. What's the fun in that?

People will say that they don't like the hire, just so that they can say "I told you so" if it doesn't work out.

I think it is fun to speculate, but you are right in that we probably won't guess right. I think that immediate reactions are pointless because we won't really know about how good the hire is until he actually starts coaching and recruiting.

That Tom Izzo has lost in the final four to many times for my taste. I would never want him as a coach at ISU.

My bad, train off tracks... Ahhhhhhh! That would be more fun arguing about why JP can't get those guys in here. What a loser we have as an AD, and you fans should be ashamed of yourself by not giving more money to get them here, and Iowa should be ashamed for having the climate and small towns that it has...

I agree it's fun to discuss, but there are so many threads that point out the shoe size of all the candidates and how that won't work with ISU. We argue about candidates that we don't think ISU should/will go after when in reality we know nothing as JP has proved over and over again.
