    The future of Colvin

Now, if this brat decides that he has changed his heart and wants to stay a Cyclone, I will not welcome him back with open arms.

He has not proven that he can hit an open shot

He has not proven that he can keep his head together

He has not proven that he is a big12 point guard.

But what he has proven, is that he is a quitter and a whiner.

This really the guy you want to lead the team? Not I.

If he does decide to stay(98% this will never happen), I will scrutinize everything he does much like a handful of select posters did to coach the last 2 years.

    Wow.

I guess if you are going to scrutinize CC I could scrutinize everything you did horribly wrong in this post. Seems way too easy though.

If CC would happen to see this let it be known the majority of cyclone nation would gladly welcome you back and root hard to develop into the player you have the potential to become.

    +1

He had major problems with Greg McD, not with ISU. That's what I conclude.

Having no direct knowledge of the situation, but knowing the track record of kids leaving ISU for some unknown reason, I find it hard to definitively hold this kid responsible for the decision to leave. The new staff should at least talk to him and see if they like what they hear.

So, it isn't OK to allow mediocre coaching, but allowing said mediocre coach's recruit to return to ISU basketball after QUITTING is just fine.

Yeah, that's the kind of "leadership" ISU has been lacking.

I would allow him back with open arms. Lets face it, we know what the problem was with ISU basketball - now the problem has been removed.

He is the only true PG we have had in an ISU uniform since 2001.

Colvin, along with anyone else who left under the McDermott regime, would be welcome back with open arms.

Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.

By some off chance that he is even eligible to come back, I would then deem the kid lazy for not getting his paper work in order. AS Hamilton proved, it doesn't take that long to get that official release.

So on top of his boorish behavior and erratic play, he is also lazy.

    Team Leader for sure.

And how, how can you diss Will Blaylock like that? Of course he was no Tinsley. Nobody is. But he was a fine true pg.

....and later today CloneYoda will be a Lake Lavirne to demonstrates how he can walk on water, change the water to wine.

Must be nice CloneYoda to feel you don't need ceiling fans in your bathrooms!

If the reasons these young men were leaving were due to coaching issues and they want to come back, I say LET 'EM BACK!

For somebody who has it all figured out, you'd think you would know how to spell one of the best PG's of the last 10 years' names.

Sorry. Blalock. Happy now? I still have visions of the 1988 title game between KU and Oklahoma, for I really liked Mookie Blaylock.

Hmmm. Colvin quit ISU. Mac quit ISU. Guess maybe they had more in common than they knew.
