Third Quarterback in Race At Nebraska (Spring Game)

Here is ESPN's analysis of Nebraska's spring game a week ago. The freshman quarterback Martinez appears to be who everyone is talking about. I guess the question is will Shawn Watson actually utilize this kid's talent. Time will tell.

Taylor Martinez stakes claim to Nebraska Cornhuskers' QB position - ESPN

Who in their right mind gives two ***** about the QB race at another school with all that is going on with MBB? I'm sure you can find people to discuss this non-story with on a Husker forum.

Why is it that everybody's panties are in a wad over the McDermott situation? Based on what I have read on CF over the past few months, I would think there would be dancing in the streets in Ames. Plus a head coach at Iowa State leaving in the midst of the inept Pollard regime shouldn't have caught anyone off guard. McDermott leaving ISU would appear to the the "non story" to me.

The only exciting thing going on at Iowa State, sports-wise, is Paul Rhoads (unless you want to talk about a couple of women's sports) and if Paul is going to win the Big 12 North, he'll have to get past Nebraska again. That kind of makes this a story, doesn't it?

Don't we only have 5 men's sports anyways (FB, BB, track/CC, WR, Golf)? Golf hasn't ever been a big deal in my knowledge. Track/CC has been getting better recently. Wrestling is always going to be pretty good (hopefully). Football is doing quite well from the looks of it. BB is what it is.

How much excitement are you expecting out of Track, Golf, and Wrestling?
