I was very impressed with him at the Spring game. I'm curious what makes you think so other than just a hunch.

    Re: Prediction: Donnie Jennert...

He has a lot of work to do, but I think the potential is definately there.

I think Donnie has the leaps and hands of Todd Blythe, but I actually think he's faster and has better moves.

With his height, he already seems to be a favorite target out there. And when the ball comes his way... he snags it. I likey!

Unfortunately, there is not anything but a hunch.

Bold prediction. I bet you David Sims beats him to it though. Seriously. I think he is that good.

He has the tools to be a great player for us that's for sure. I'm kinda hoping someone like A-Rob or AA will be an All-American first though.

Bold prediction indeed, but I like it! Although I would be perfectly happy if he was the 2nd coming of Blythe! But All-American would mean he would be much better!

I like the prediction because when in direct comparison with Blythe from a raw skills stand point, he seems to have the edge in speed, has the same height and vertical leap. If he can be Blythe but with more speed than the sky is the limit!

BTW, if there's anyone on the team right now that I'd say could fit the bill for a possible A-A spot, it'd be K.O. - as long as he keeps busting his *** to get better.

I seriously think he could be All Big 12, but not sure about All-American. Possible? Of course. Likely? No.

    Completely agree with you.

Right now KO is the most desired player by the NFL on our team... hands down. He has everything they are looking for. He just needs to show what he can do now.

I hate propping kids up too early, but I did at least like what I saw from Jennert in that spring game. He seems to have some of those "intangibles" that you look for in a player. They seem to "get it". He ran good routes, and when the ball was thrown his way he owned it... he wanted it... and when it hit his hands it wasn't coming out.

With that being said, it was only the spring game. Guys have looked good in the spring game before and never amounted to much. So I guess we'll see?

I would say he and Sims are a tie in my eyes. If Sims improved his coverage, he will be all conference, if not AA. Last year, of the games I saw which was all but 2, I thought he was the best player on the field most of the time.
