    Draft day predictions

So here's your chance to jump in and tell everyone who you think will be your favorite teams first round pick....

    Mine - Dallas Cowboys....

    Pick #27

Needs - S and OL if the right WR falls, then another offensive weapon couldnt hurt.

    My Guess:
Dallas is really high on four guys - Dez Bryant, Mike Iupati, Markus Pouncey, and Earl Thomas. Rumors abound that they've inquired about moving upto #13 with San Fran and my guess they're offering Marcus Spears, #27 and a later pick like (196) 6th round.

Realistic, if they cannot move up to get Thomas, then i think they sit at #27 and if Pouncey or Iupati fall they grab them. If all four are gone, i see the pick being Rodger Stafford of indiana - LT and moving up the boards if the big 4 are gone.

NFL DRAFT in primetime - cant beat it!!!!

    Go Boyz!!!!

    Niners-

Hoping Berry falls to them. If not I would like to see them take Brandon Graham or another DE to go along with Patrick Willis. If Colt McCoy falls to that spot and they think they want a QB, I wouldn't be ****** to see them take him. I think he could end up being the best one out of this draft. I am seeing a lot of people say CJ Spiller. That would excite me greatly but I don't see him falling to them. If he does, they have to take him and then possibly try to get some decent pickups by trading Gore. I would rather have a Spiller/Coffee tandem than a Gore/Coffee tandem.

    Re: Draft day predictions

Easiest pick in the draft - Bucs - McCoy.

If you listen to Suh, though, and the fact that Bradford isn't signed yet, Suh has a shot to go #1 and McCoy #2, I would bet the Bucs trade down with the Seahawks for 6 and 14, and take Berry and Dez Bryant.

    Re: Draft day predictions

Chiefs better not take an OT since Pioli said that they like Alberts at LT. Berry at 5 or trade down to get mclain a few picks later

Steelers - hang on to Ben and draft C/G from Florida (Pouncey). Won't be an exciting day for the Steelers...but it is what probably has to happen...

I honestly think taking McCoy at either of the 49ers first round picks would be a little bit of a reach. There are a lot of projectors saying Clausen would still be avaialble at these picks (13, 17 for those non-49er fans out there). I wouldn't mind seeing him in the red and gold. I'm thinking the most likely scenario, however, is Haden with the first pick and an OL with the second. For as often as I've seen projections of Iupati to the 49ers, I just don't like that pick. I don't think he was a very consistent college player. There are better OL to be had, and hopefully one of them is still available at those picks.

(P.S. yaman3: If you were a Trail Blazers fan, we might have just became best friends.)

I think McCoy will be a better QB for the Niners than Claussen. I just have a bad feeling about Clausen. I think that if they can get either at 17, because I believe they will take Spiller at 13 if possible, they have to take one. I would rather it be McCoy. I just like his attitude and how he does things. I don't see them taking a CB in the first round. I think there are too many good players still there to take a chance on a corner. The corner pool, IMO is pretty shallow this year. Maybe they take a guy later who they can develop a couple years. Someone like a Donovan Warren. I just do not see the Niners passing up Spiller or one of those two QBs. If none of those are available, I think they take Graham or very possibly Haden. Berry won't be available but I would love to see him there as well. In the end, who really knows. All I know is that the trade they made last year to get that second first round pick could be huge.

I can tell you as a packers fan that there is no way that the packers go with Taylor Mays at 23. There is much more pressing needs and getting high caliber safties is not that hard to do in the later rounds.

    Re: Draft day predictions

A overall prediction I have is that there will be many trades over the next 3 days. It's a very deep draft and many teams are wanting to pick up as many picks in this draft as they can get. Alot of starters in this draft
