    Vikings sign CB Lito Sheppard

Reported by one of the Viking beat writers in a tweet.....1 year, 2 million dollars. Just thought I would pass it on.

That's a pretty good deal. I think the Vikes are getting a pretty solid corner for a low price. I always liked Lito. He's not THAT old and has a couple of Pro Bowls on his resume. I think he's still got some gas in his tank, and wouldn't have minded seeing the Eagles make a play on him. Though, I think that bridge has burned...

good to see that they pulled the trigger. Star Tribune has been reporting that they were interested. He's going to fit in nicely. As far as how this affects tomorrow's draft, I'm guessing they go DT with their first round pick. Maybe Price from UCLA, or Tennessee's Williams. Just please not Tebow.

I think this is a great move by Minny because now they aren't in dire need on a pick at the end of rd1. Now if they want they can trade out of that pick if some team wants desperatly to trade back into the first rd to get a player most likely a qb

I like it. As there is no real glaring need i sat we go for BPA to add depth. That is in less we trade up for a qb, of course

I notice that SI's Peter King has the Vikes taking Tebow in his final mock draft. I really hope he's wrong. I'd rather see them take a DT, safety, or maybe linebacker with their first round pick, and then trade up in the second round to get a guy like Colt Mccoy.

injury questions, I'd guess. He was dinged up most of last year.
