AMES, Iowa - Iowa State's track and field team will focus on relay competition at 101st Drake Relays Wednesday through Saturday at Drake Stadium in Des Moines.

"We've got a lot of different people in a lot of different event areas and we've been able to put together some pretty competitive relays," ISU head coach Corey Ihmels said. "We have really concentrated on doing well in the relay events and hopefully that will get us ready for conference in a few weeks."

Seniors Lisa Koll and Erin Penticoff and sophomores Kianna Elahi and Semehar Tesfaye are expected to compete in the distance medley relay for the Cyclones Friday at 1:15 p.m. Koll, Penticoff, junior Ines Fischer and Tesfaye are set to run the women's 4x1600-meter relay Saturday at 11:20 a.m.
