    Tim Floyd at it again!!

At UTEP for a couple weeks and he already is pulling in big time talent. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the top 10 at some point next year.

2009 4* (top 55) player somehow was able to sign with UTEP today after only being at a JUCO for one year

He also signed Michael Haynes. I big bodied 3 star player who will help them right away

Those 2 guys plus the talent they have returning and Floyd should easily be able to lead that team to a nice seed in the tournament. Don't forget they have a big time talent in Character who was a 5* transfer from Louisville

I'm not a huge Floyd fan. He can pull in some talent. Don't ask how he does it, just accept it. Once he gets them he typically does OK. Not great by any means. Never made it past the Sweet 16 (only been there twice). Conference record at USC with great talent was 39-33. Just ok.

May or may not, due to the fact *Caracter has placed his name in the draft but has not hired an agent though....

Shouldn't this be in the general college area?

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.

Floyd did fine there. USC is not a good job - no fan support and no tradition. Let's wait to see what USC does post-Floyd. This past season sure wasn't much. Seeing their fancy new arena 1/3 to 1/2 full on TV was startling.
All four of his college jobs prior to UTEP were no picnics, yet he won his share, and won big at times here.
I sure wish he was back in Ames...

    Is he still married?
Suprised his wife hated Ames but OK with El Paso.

'Cause of Clark? What does UTEP have to do with TCU?

Why do you think USC stunk this year? Because of Floyd. Pretty much all those players decommited while he was still the coach. They were going to stink even if he was coaching there.

Don't get me wrong he wins (not a big time winner but he wins) and brings in great players. But he does it in a very shady way (obviously) and underacheives with the talent he has

Whoops UTEP. Confusing one mid major Texas school who has a great coach with the one who beat us for a recruit today. OK, technically jealous of both of them.
