    Creme/ESPN 1-64 for next year

Has ISU at 17th. I have wondered will next year be an interesting year to watch ISU WBB with post play the highlight? Can't wait to see Harris and the new Aus play, and wondering if we will get a couple more jucos soon, and walk-ons....the anticipation of the off season is painful.

I really think we will do well.. I think losing Whitney hurts alot.. hopefully the new hits come in and step up and Cole plus better

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

I doubt that losing WW is going to bother us. There are several Iowa JuCo combo guards that could step in and produce as much as WW would have. The new Aus and Coles will probably share the point with the Cal. kid or a Juco as our shooting guard. I think we will be focusing on the power game with a three when ever we get a good look. It is going to another exciting year of Cyclone basketball.

Wow, Charlie is not showing a lot of love for the Big 12. 8 teams each from the ACC and Big East and only 5 Big 12 (1 from the North). And 6 teams from the Big Ten?

Nebraska is not on the list, so his prediction is they go from a 1 seed to Not In Tournament.

Re: Creme/ESPN 1-64 for next year

Nebraksa is a feast or famine (mostly famine) program. They had their run this year and lose nearly every bit of talent they had. KU could be the mystery team for next year. MU, CU, KSU will be average at best. ISU's success will depend on how well someone picks up the reins as point guard and finding another 3 point shooter. I'm hoping the new kids can handle Bill's pressure. Our bigs have to step it up in the off season. Prins absolutely has to get stronger and learn how to jump more than 2 inches off the ground. Pop has to find a mid range shot. Zimmerman has to learn how to move and play defense. Going to be an interesting year for sure. The south will hve some power in ATM and Baylor. The rest will be a "wait and see" as we find out how missing pieces of the puzzle will be filled.

Re: Creme/ESPN 1-64 for next year

With Iowa State at 17th and Iowa at 25th, women's basketball is in good shape in this small midwestern state. I was surprised that UNI wasn't listed but Mo State was and so was some schools that I had never heard of until now. With good talent coming from the high school ranks it bodes well for the sport for the coming years.

As far as the Clones are concerned we have to get at least double digit scoring from both Prins and Poppens. Bolte is too streaky to be counted on everynight. One night she will score 25 and the next she disappears. We also need to find a fourth scorer. Maybe Christorpherson will come and be another scoring machine. It will be another fun year to watch. Go Twister Sisters....
