Of the 3 basketball recruits signed so far (Ejim, Phillips, Railey) who do you think will likely make the biggest impact this upcoming season?

Glad to see Railey signed. This makes it easier on JVB.

If you are a dad, how do you explain to that young man that Kobe isn’t playing?
    “Is he hurt daddy?”
No son. He’s a prima donna.
“What is a prima donna daddy?”
Something that you better not ever be son.

Fruit on Ice Cream should be outlawed. That was a horrible answer. Go chop up some butterfingers. That would be the correct answer.

Jello without fruit will get the same result in my house. Growing up, I didn't even realize you could make plain jello for quite a few years.

    Re: CF Mailbag: 4-14 Edition

Man do I take issue with some of those answers. Do you really want Kobe or LeBron injured for the playoffs? Kobe has been injured. Are you willing to take that risk? Say they play and one is injured. There goes your Kobe vs. LeBron matchup that the NBA so desperately wants. They do it in the NFL, why not the NBA? They do it in the MLB, why not the NBA? Your money back argument is ridiculous. I understand in these cases people go to watch Kobe or LeBron, but they should be taking into account that this thing could happen. Also, if they cared that much perhaps they should go to a game before the least week of the season. Bringing Micheal Jordan into it is ridiculous. His baseball team should have given people who came to watch him play their money back because he sucked. He took three years off because he thought he could excel at another sport. I also do not know how you call either of those guys prima donnas. I think they have proven they have it. I am not a fan of either, I tend to root for Dwight Howard, but I think you are being unfair. I expect to see AP on the field next year if the Vikes have the 1 seed locked up. After all, if he isn't playing he is a prima donna.

    Alert Pujols isn't on anything

A strawberry blizzard? Really? Seriously? They have how many options and you pick a fruit. It is things like this that make me question the direction of this site. We have a guy here running the show that takes a blizzard and adds fruit. Unbelievable.

No offense, I just disagree with some things in this one.

By the way, when do I get to do a mailbag. This looks fun.

Yeah you're right. People who live in Des Moines really need to get to a Lakers game before the last week of the season That makes a TON of sense. I'll be sure to tell my friends to get their butts on planes to LA earlier next season.

Go ahead and try to compare basketball and football all you want. It is apples and oranges. Totally different. That's why I threw it in the answer.

And yeah...you're right about Michael Jordan and baseball. They should give those people their money back for going to watch him play. That's right. They went to watch HIM play because he is Michael FREAKING Jordan. Did they really give a damn about AAA baseball? I don't think so. Nobody really cares about AAA baseball. People care about rehab stints and drinking beer with their friends. AAA baseball is a social event.

Jordan sucking in the minors probably made that franchise more money than any group of players in history.

By the way CW, if you haven't been to the K since last year with the renovations, you need to get back...which I know is happening before you get married if it already hasn't

Haha. Yes, I'll be at the K a week from Saturday. Should be a good time.

I actually went for the Yankees series last April. It was awesome. I love that ballpark.
