Heard about that on WLS the other day. Kind of disturbing, especially from the peanut gallery.

I've never been to that ballpark before, but from what I have seen in my lifetime, the floors of those things are nasty. The last place I'd be would be laying on the floor, even if I was doing it.

Yeah, I would think that would be a germ fest.

That stadium is a perfect example that new parks dont revitalize the sorrounding community. You could build a Disney there and it would still be the Southside.

Perhaps not outside every stall. But they'll have security — off-duty cops — watching every restroom. Bet on it.

That's because two big-time Sox fans, guys who can actually name great players of the past, read the Tribune and won't let it happen again. Their names are Mayor Richard Daley and Sox Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf.
Haha, nice little shot at the Pres. If you're not familiar, listen to this clip:

Actually, most of the surrounding community is nicer than most of Des Moines, and has certainly improved since the stadium has been built. Since it replaced the old stadium across the street, there wasn't the expectation of revitalization.

And my guess is you have no clue what you are talking about when you reference "Southside".
