Cool So did Fennelly recruit McCaffery's wife to Notre Dame?

I saw that Maggie (Nowlin) McCaffery played WBB at ND from 1988-1992. BF came to ISU in 1995 after seven years at Toledo. Before that wasn't he an assistant at ND? If so, he would have left there about the time Ms. McCaffery showed up on campus.

Yes. He even tweeted that he recruited her to ND.

Even crazier---Reading my ESPN Encyclopedia today and found out that Siena's basketball arena holds 15,500 people. Carver Hawkeye Arena holds 15,500 people---the exact same!!

According to a guy I know, both courts are exactly 94 feet long. Coincidence? I don't think so.

the main difference: while both CAN hold 15,500 people, only Siena's actually DOES hold 15,500 people.

Mmmm, I wonder if the baskets are both 10 foot high? I think the coach should have the kids check that before the big game!
