Re: Cyclones Move on Without Star Seniors

ISU has appealed the NCAA for an extra year of eligibility for injured senior 141-pounder Nick Gallick – a twice a top-five finisher at nationals — but it’s likely his career is over.
    Really? Damn.

"The bulk of his All-America lineup – one put together by former coach Cael Sanderson – has moved on..."

I know Cael was involved in recruiting that class, but wasn't Douglas still coach at the time these seniors came to ISU?

Yeah, that stood out to me as well. Douglas was still the coach for the graduating seniors during their redshirt fresman season.

Its extremely annoying this it continually gets referred to as Caels class. Bono had a lot to do with the recruiting of those kids as well.

Re: Cyclones Move on Without Star Seniors

That would be a bummer for Gallick. H really deserves a shot at his senior season. I like Reader talking like he is ready to take charge. I think his disappointing tourney this year will drive him to be the best next year. He ought to go seek out Alison Lacey before she heads for Seattle to talk about what she did to lead her team to higher than expected heights.
