What is the most you have ever paid for a ticket?

    For a sporting event?

I paid $90 to see Game 7 of the 2003 NLCS between the Cubs and Marlins at Wrigley... obviously the Cubs lost, but it was a fun time. Still worth it to me.

    You?

Re: What is the most you have ever paid for a ticket?

I don't recall paying more than $60 for a ticket (iowa v ISU last time in IC). I probably would pay up to $100 for a good game but if ISU were in a final 4 or NC or something I honestly know I would pay a lot...like seriously $1000 for A ticket. Why? Let's be honest, if ISU was ever in that situation I would be hard pressed to believe it would happen again in my life time and thus I couldn't let the opportunity pass....

Yep, this thread has just been pwned.

$325 to see Favre's last regular season game in Lambeau as a Packer. Worth every penny....$289 for floor seats to game 4 of the Celts Bulls playoff series last year...again worth every penny.

Personally? $125 for Game 2 of the 2008 NLDS at Wrigley against the Dodgers. I thought it "was the year" and I had never been to a playoff game, so I bought them and went. Great time, other than the beating the Dodgers gave them.

I've been to a few other games, Cubs vs. Cards at Busch in 1998 (Home Run Chase Year) that my uncle paid for. I have no idea how much he paid and I'm sure I'll never know. We were 14 rows behind the Cubs dugout, so I'm sure they weren't cheap.

$90? $115? For cubs playoff tix? Where did you find those prices? Usually from second hand vendors for the playoffs you are looking at 250.00 plus and that's for the cheapo seats.

I bought mine in the bottom of the first and didn't have very good seats.

I think the Elite 8 ticket in 2000 was like $180, but I can't remember. I regularly pay $100/ticket for NFL football games.

$200 for this year's Final Four. All three games though.

Bought them on Ebay after I couldn't get them in the virtual waiting room...We were 2 rows from the top and 3 seats in from the edge down the left field line.

Here's the view from our seats...they even had a make shift press box next to us that had better seats.
