    A quick WBB recruiting tidbit

Expect Iowa State to sign one more player during the spring signing period. It will more than likely be a shooter of some sort. I'll give you all more info when I have it.

You mean the womens basketball teams is recruiting 3 point shooters. That's odd. Then again we only have 10-11 girls coming back that can shoot the tre. haha

Is this a bad sign on the Greenfield/Stokes front? I thought Bill had said that he was done for this year and wanted to keep slots open for 2011 because that class was stacked.

Gee, yeah, it's a real bad sign. Instead of 6 spots open, he now has only 5. What is we gonna do?

ISU has a lot of open scholarships for 2011. ISU is currently on track to have only 10 scholarship players next season not counting this player.

Though a Kirkwood player may not excite most of you, I can assure you that the Kirkwood sophomore class is very good. The 4 sophs went 73-2 in two years, won the schools 4th consecutive National Championship, and increased their conference win streak to over 90 games. The reason the leading scorers only have 10 points a game is because the girls on the end of the bench average 4. Very balanced team that can dominate opponents.

Gilium was the one someone suggested a couple weeks ago. Kind of like that we have had bigger guards. Don't know if I am crazy about another 5 6/7 guard, but BF is the man, so I trust he knows what he is doing.

Here are some links on Angela Christianson. hmmm....she was verballed/committed to drake.

She's SIGNED with Drake, so she's not the player BF is looking at.

ARSON brought up the name Kayla Timmerman (Wayzata, MN) in the main WBB recruiting thread. Was that the one?

Timmerman of Wayzata MN is not a shooting guard; she's a 6'2 center and leaning heavily toward Wisconsin, or so I thought.
