    Sam Bradford to go #1?

He had his pro day today and apparently did outstanding. Im a Rams fan and I would love nothing more than to see him get drafted #1 overall.

The guy is more accurate than anyone in college football and, seriously, right up there with the elietes in the NFL. Bradford is truly a franchise QB and is not a threat to get injured.

If you want to talk about guys with potential injury: People said the same thing about Adrian Peterson after he broke his collar bone.

What do you guys think about Bradford? Who do you want your team to draft?

the rumor is, he's not being terribly cooperative to the Rams contract talks, claiming that he won't sign before the draft. That could throw a wrench into things.

I agree, Suh is as close to a sure thing as you can get in the NFL, but talent does not necessarily dictate draft order.

    See: Alex Smith.

Suh is probably better, but I think it would be best to take Bradford. That's A LOT of money to be thrown at a DT if he is taken #1 pick, especially considering no NFL experience.

Okung. Albert can't hack it at left tackle. I think they will go with the best left tackle no matter what.

I assume you're talking about the Chiefs?

I've heard that Pioli is very high on Bulaga.

yeah, Pioli is very good friends with Ferentz also. It looks like Okung will go before in the top 4. The Rams have to gamble and take a QB. They need a buzz back in that franchise. I don't think Suh can do that at DT.

Bulaga has nice upside that he was a true Jr and still very young, but he was far from impressive this year.
Glad my Lions will get Suh, but he is gonna cost a lot of money and who knows what will happen health wise. It's the crap-tastic decisions in the middle rounds that make the huge misses in the first round so noticeable to all the talking heads.

I think Suh will be dominate, and a great pick for the Lions. I don't even no who calls the shots there now, but that's a pretty easy pick. I'm nervous as hell about Bulaga cause it looks like he will indeed go 5 to KC. I have Hawkeye friends saying he was the 2nd or 3rd best OL for them so it's wait and see for me.

Oh I know know SUh is a no brainer, Dont know why McCoy is even being mentioned IMO.
At the end of the season people were talking up "the streaker" Riley Reiff more than Bulaga. Im just glad he's leaving, too bad they keep getting very good OL every 3 or so year to fill in. That kid they got from Ill. this year looks like a beast too.

Ram fan to Ram fan here, we need an O-Line buddy! With the line we got you got put Jesus at QB and HE would still get sacked.

This year the Rams will have 2 first round picks (Barron and Smith), two high priced free agents (Bell and Brown), and a 3rd round pick (Greco) starting on the offensive line. The o-line SHOULD be fine. Jackson gained quite a few yards last year while the o-line was dealing with significant injuries. That tells me its one of two things:

    1. Our quarterback held on to the ball WAY too long

    or

    2. We need to fire our ISU alum o-line coach who for some reason was held over from the previous staff....

For the record, I want Bradford. Every DT that is a top ten pick is a "once in a decade" type player. Just like Glen Dorsey.... Get the true franchise changer, a quarterback.

Honestly I'm just nervous that Bradford falls 1 time the wrong way and boom! There goes our franchise guy! We get Suh or McCoy on the front line then we can afford to bring in a later QB like Tim Tebow OMG did he just say what I think he said? Yep a fighter! I like his style!

Re: Sam Bradford to go #1?

Not sure if Suh is a no brainer to the Lions. Okung is starting to show up in some mock drafts at 2; the thought being that they invested so much in Stafford last year that they better protect that investment and not let him take the beating he did last year.

A lot of boards have the 2 DTs as the top 2 rated players but the top few picks in this years draft will be the highest contracts ever paid to rookie players after they slap a cap on it or a slotting system like the NBA. Teams might be a little scared to pay that to Defensive Tackles instead of QBs and Left Tackles.
