    Tom Izzo

34-11 record in the NCAA tournament.

15-3 on the second game in the tournament.

I knew Izzo was good in post season, but wow.. that is insane.

    Re: Tom Izzo

He is fantastic. His teams always find a way to win. Even when it seems like they aren't the best team he finds a way to get his team to win.

    Re: Tom Izzo

I hate MSU, but I'm convinced Izzo is the best coach in the college game.

He does it the right way also.

What was Seth Davis' quote? Izzo just gets it done.

    Re: Tom Izzo

I would agree that he is a great coach. However I have watched at least 3 games that Michigan State has played in that the official clearly helped them win in the tourny. I won't mention one of the teams. I think we all know which one.

Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

The refs in this game were doing all they could to help Tennessee win.

Having watched him in person, the television does not do justice as to exactly how much he whines and complains to the officials throughout the entire game.

The ISU game wasn't one of them. We got all the calls in the first half. Izzo even got a Technical. We had an epic meltdown the last 3 minutes of that game.

    Re: Tom Izzo

I think it's funny that someone would complain about a coach whining and complaining to the refs. Does it seem to work for him? Then why in the hell would he stop?

Excactly. It's called working the refs. Complain enough and you will notice calls will start to go your way. It's no secret. The best coaches in the country do it. In fact some of the real good high school coaches I've seen do it. The more you win the more respect you will get from those refs. It's common place in the game.
