    Re: More press for ISU

Thanks Redbird. I'm getting pumped. Hopefully the Sisters can keep their cool and keep it close until Lacey and Bolte shut the door on the Huskies.

    Re: More press for ISU

Thanks for sharing ! I never expected this team will go to NCAA this season when this season started, but, I have never been so happy to be wrong.

    Re: More press for ISU

I love the quotes from Geno Auriemma in the pregame press conference about casual fans of WCBB. He said he doesn't care about the casual fans, and that WCBB is like ice hockey because casual fans may not care that much about ice hockey, but the real fans who follow it do care deeply. He was also very respectful of ISU as a credible opponent. I really like Geno. I hope his team gets creamed today by our girls, but I do like the things the guy says.

I actually agree and do not mind Geno. It does kinda suck for the sport of WBB that his team is soooo dominate (I know a decent amount of people that normally would watch some of the tourney but everyone assumes UConn will roll everyone), but he is pretty respectful and coaches his team his way.

I know he probably rubs people the wrong way, but to be blunt it is hard to win that many games and be that dominate without rubbing people the wrong way.

I still hope we win today; it would be the biggest win in ISU history (maybe in any sport...)

Yep, this thread has just been pwned.

I agree... might be the biggest upset by any sport in this state, and the biggest upset in the WCBB history.
