    SI covers.com

I get my SI last night and the cover of UNI makes me think about going to the website to order any covers ISU has been on. None!! I thought even in the last 25 years we may have had the opportunity to grace the cover. No controversial elite 8 loss, no Cael Sanderson undefeated in college or Olympic gold, no reach for the goal line against FSU in probably the 3rd game of a early college football season, no Marv Sieler run that leads to upset of #1 team. Am I crazy for thinking we could have or should have been on the cover at some point in a weekly magazine?
These are what they have for the state of Iowa.

You are crazy....but then again, Deion Sanders, the greatest athlete of all time has only had two covers and they were both for baseball?!

It doesn't show that, but it shows a hawk from 54', so they go back in time a ways.

Thats odd. I could swear there was a cover with Fizer on it. It was the issue leading up to the NCAAs. Must have dreamt it.

The same week that Cael finished undefeated, a little girl got injured at an NHL game (and died two days later) because of a puck that flew up into the crowd behind the goal. That was on the cover, and led to the implementation of the huge endline nets at NHL arenas.

Iowa State lost the FSU game, so it wasn't a game-winning play.

Nebraska was #7 that week, not #1.
