Justin Hamiltin is narrowing his options down

A source tells me that Justin Hamilton has already turned down offers from CAL, Washington State and BYU. His final three schools are Virginia, LSU and UCLA.

Unless he goes to UCLA, so much for "wanting to be closer to home"

you know what - who cares at this point? he is no longer an ISU student or player, and is not a recruit.

Kinda like Wes and the many others who have left. why do we want to torture ourselves by following their every move once they **** all over us?

Maybe this has been said or not, but maybe he just did not fit in socially here at Iowa State. Just a thought, I have no inside information.

Re: Justin Hamiltin is narrowing his options down

I don't get what a school like UCLA is thinking. Do they need an extra guy on the end of the bench. I mean seriously UCLA get's recruits. Hamilton averaged less than 10 points a game. He is good for ISU but please UCLA. Get real Justin. You may go there but you will be riding pine. You are not Wes Johnson.

WTF can he possibly think he'll fit in at LSU and Virginia? If he was having trouble fitting in in Ames, talk about culture shock at those two schools.

    Homesick my ***.

What is not to understand? He obviously has an issue with the coaching staff, he has made that apparent by telling a lie about playing closer to home.

Virginia and LSU are closer to home.... NOT! Chris this is a very serious omen. I saw Ham as the poster child of McDermott system. This says a lot.

Exactly my feelings. As much as people don't like Deace, he claims to have gotten an E-mail from one of McDermotts former players who claims that nobody like playing for McDermott. Not sure if its true or not, but at this point, more things point to it being true than not being true...

    Chris,

Can we get the non-pc version of your opinion on this? You'e covered these guys. You are starting to understand the program dynamics. What the hell is going on? He's obviously not worried about getting closer to home. What's the non pc version of this?

I agree with you. Of all the transfers, Hamilton's is the most troubling IMO.
