    Ex-coaches in Vegas

Just got off a flight home from Vegas last night in Cedar Falls and on the flight were none other than Tom Davis and wait for it, Wayne Morgan. Not together, but collegial. Strange coincidence.

    Re: Ex-coaches in Vegas

Well obviously they were flying back to Iowa after meeting Iowa's Gary Barta down there about the coach opening. I heard they will be co-head coaches.

The two of them go on a bi-annual 3 day bender in Vegas paid for by University buyout money.

That does seem weird, and there is a flight that goes from Vegas to Cedar Falls or Waterloo? Must have not been non-stop (sorry about the double negative).

Maybe Dr. Tom is getting in on the Satellite extravaganza that Wayne has going. Maybe he'll be the Eastern Iowa distributor.

    Re: Ex-coaches in Vegas

I was on the same flight

Dr Tom was in the middle actually wearing black and gold

I was told DR Tom goes out for the tourney almost every year now

    Re: Ex-coaches in Vegas

I'm guessing Wayne flew there because you can't get anywhere else in the midwest right now. I've been stuck in Phoenix since Sat. I've heard getting out of Vegas is bad also.
