Problems with Des Moines Register website

I just went to the Des Moines registers web site, and I am getting warnings of potential virus infection on each page on the site.

Not sure if it is a false positive or not. I am using AVG antivirus it says it is Exploit Crimepack Exploit Kit (type 766)

Coming from gannett.gcion.com/addyn/(then a bunch of random stuff)

Which likely means it is a issue with a ad on the site coming from another company.

Re: Problems with Des Moines Register website

Got the same warnings too. There's a possibility that the pop up is infected. It happened before

I got infected with a virus sometime last month, the same timeframe when startribune website was infected by a virus through one of the pop-ups. They said it was discovered on Sunday morning though I got infected on Friday evening - I think it was the same virus as I was opening the website (I wasn't opening other websites). I didn't use AVG that time.
