A not so big 15 ticket increase. Hope it's not slowing down.

Well it was updated fairly quickly. If you haven't noticed, they've been spreading the updates over quite a few days (4-5) so the jumps look bigger (and they have been impressive). There will be slow periods and fast periods in ticket sales.

What kind of tickets are still available, does anyone know? I'm thinking about buying some friends some south end zone season tickets. Anyone know if they have any left and how much they are?

Anyone else think they might jump up a little bit after this weekend? People who don't watch football quite as HIGHLY as us here at CycloneFanatic will see what is going on around the Ames area with the tailgating and people will pick up the newspapers and see articles about Gene Chizik and the spring game and they'll go "Oh *****, I gotta go get my Cyclones tickets!"

If there are any left on May 18th when they go on sale, they'll be $125

I agree with you on your idea. I Gotta believe that the marketing move behind this push for ticket sales would be to post a big jump after the spring game so that people do feel the need/urge to get in on the momentum.

    Re: 31,769

I'm sure it'll keep going up if we're just patient. We should see a jump after this weekend, if the team looks crisp and improved, people will hear and get excited, as isucyclone4 stated. Also don't forget that taxes are due on Tuesday, we should see another jump after taxes or after people get their refunds. However, I think we'll generally see a steady increase until we start getting near August and football season is looming. How many people are saying "oh well, I don't need to go to ISU-Iowa this year" right now who change their minds as the time approaches? How many Hawk fans (and this thought disgusts me) will find out that they can't get the cheap endzone tickets and buy up hillside tickets?

We'll see. I think we hit 35,000 by August 1.

yes, just realize that us on this board are the true hardcore fans, i mean we discuss ISU football throughout the whole year.. we are the fans that are loyal to ISU and the ones still at The Jack even when morale is low and so is the win column.. sadly we are just a small % of Cyclone fans.. but the best type of fans ISU could ask for there are plenty of people out there that still need to get their tickets

    Re: 31,769

One thing I forgot. You have to think some of the online ticket brokers have to realize that the only way to get into the ISU-Iowa game is to buy a season ticket. It's a high-demand product that already brings in revenue when tickets aren't limited to season-ticket holders. How many do they buy up just for the profit of that one game?

I personally think that's Pollard's ace in the hole.
