    Single-game tickets

    Hi all -

As I mentioned in my first post, I will be interested in coming down for 2-3 games next year in Ames. The only games that I attended before were with a season ticket holder who is no longer living, so I may try buying single-game tickets to games that I want to make the trip for. Since I've never done this before, can you tell me what sections are usually designated for single-game tickets? I would want reserved and not hillside. Thanks and Go Cyclones.

I bought a pair the day they went on sale in August 2 years ago and got top row of the second deck on the east side.

single game tickets are gonna be the ends on both the lower and upper levels. If you wait until the day of the game, you can usually pick up decent seats off someone in the lots for face value. the only exception this year would probably be the Nebraska game.

Darn that was one of the games that I was interested in, haha. Maybe I should just buy season tickets... are you kind of "looked down upon" if you buy season tickets but know you can't make it to every game?

Oh no not in the least bit by Pollard, it's money money money for him, but i would recommend buying season tickets anyways, you can make your friends buy them if you wouldn't make it to all the games. that what i did. worked well for me
