    For Caffeine Freaks

Here's a nice list of what caffeine sources give you the most bang for your buck.

I stick mostly to coffee and diet pop, but I was really surprised to see that Sunkist Orange Soda is a cheap source...I thought it was caffeine-free! Not going to let the kids have that anymore...

Saw Austen Arnaud loading up on 5 hour energy at Casey's a couple weeks ago, never actually tried the stuff but if I needed to stay up that's what I'd use, energy drinks taste like ****.

These aren't the most pleasant-tasting things in the world, either (well, at least the orange-flavored tastes like a kiddie vitamin, so it's fairly tolerable). That being said, it's only a 2-oz shot as opposed to a 32-oz can.

Pepsi Max works pretty well for me also.

Also more sugar per can than anything other than Code Red Mountain Dew.

I re-discovered Sunkist freshmen year, then two weeks later took a drink of (regular) Mtn. Dew. Spit it out because I thought it had somehow spoiled and gone sour. Only after someone else told me it "tasted fine" to them did I compare the amount of sugar between Sunkist and everything else...

    Re: For Caffeine Freaks

I find a straight injection of Mt. Dew into the blood stream works just fine for the early morning hours!
