    2008 recruiting

    Buckley
    Eikmeier
    Hamilton
    Mann
    Pomlee
    JVB

How does a D1 coach recruit that bad? 5 guys who left after 2 years or less and one guy that has averaged 4ppg during his career.

I'm struggling to find anything to give us ANY hope for the future.

    Re: 2008 recruiting

Was this the time period where Jean Prileau left as a recruiter.

To get nothing out of a 6 man class is really a drag on the program. Had we recruited even 2 B12 caliber players (who stayed) would have made a huge difference in our record this year.

Christopherson was also part of this class. Still, a huge swing and miss for McD in 2008.

Might of been a good class at Wayne State or North Dakota State.

    Re: 2008 recruiting

That's shocking. I didn't realize they were all in the same class. Interesting nugget.

I'm glad Greg is building such a great program here. :(

Makes us inspired for the future. We could see in the little pickup games that HB was playing better than most of them as a soph in high school. We should have known.

    Very true point.

I know Rivals and Scout don't know everything about who we recruit, but I can't find one up coming recruit in the next few years that gets me excited for anything. Thats pretty sad.

The trend here is that odd number years have decent retention. It's the even number years with mass exodus. Look for Phillips to not qualify, Ejim to blow out his knee, and Raily to transfer before he steps foot on campus

Holy crap, that is depressing and frustrating at the same time.

Don't look behind the curtains. Just continue to put your full faith and trust in Pollard and McDermott.

    Re: 2008 recruiting

Are we going to be facing more lost scholarships due to the defections?
