I like the part about not having stars...I think that is a team concept that can be built around.

Love the spell checkers at ESPN didn't get Rhoads right under the picture.

The person who wrote the caption must have been a Rhodes Scholar.

I'm liking this Ubben guy so far. Seems to be giving equal coverage to all the teams in the conference in the pre-season. I'm sure as the season goes along we will see more in depth coverage of the teams at the top of the divisions. Here's hoping the Clones get some in-depth coverage!

I actually loved the line by Rhoads about stars and Robinson. Paraphrasing here, but the whole 'the media and coachs didn't vote him all league so I guess he's not'. Getting some good shots in telling the national media we're coming.

Re: Q&A With CPR (by ESPN - David Ubben) (Part 1)

Enjoyed the detail explanation of that Nebraska game. I knew people were sick and all, but man the way it sounded it was far worse. I think back to the interview question asked to Rhoads on how we were going to win that game, and you could tell he was very, very much emphasizing the "Team"! That game the only way we could win was as a team. Of course, our defensive team is what came through, but they did it as a team for sure and I think that just laid the groundwork for what Rhoads and the players finally and completely bought into for the culture.

I think his expectations for next fall are thoughtfully realistic. I hope folks aren't calling for his head if we don't have more wins than last year... We should be ecstatic about going to a bowl even if it's Boise again.
