    CBI/CIT Sites

The third and fourth tier tournaments are searching for teams.

Bradley said no. Creighton said yes to CIT. Michigan said no. BCS schools must go to CBI. Will we be asked since we are losing so many key players?

Mason to play in CIT | Washington Examiner

The CBI is in its third year, while the CIT is in its second year. Both have 16-team fields and are played at campus sites. The CBI includes teams from major BCS conferences that don’t get into the NIT, while the CIT is strictly for teams from “mid-major” conferences.
Schools must guarantee $70,000 to the CBI and $31,000 to the CIT per home game.

    Re: CBI/CIT Sites

I think Mac politely shot the idea down in his post-game interview.
