    Re: Nice Place In Coralville

Could there be anymore black and gold in that house?

I expected to see his IU uniformed hanging on the wall or "Steve Alford Court" printed on the gym floor.

I wish I had a water fountain and a basketball court.

The wife wants curtains and a new bed and we're getting those, you'd think I could get a court and a fountain.

Enough black and gold to make an entire town sick. Whats with the back yard must not have enough money to lay sod and grow some things.

Ferentz??? He must be anticipating the inevitable outrage from Hawkeye fans after he fails to win the national championship next year. But I don't understand why he has a basketball court...was he good friends with Alford?

    Re: Nice Place In Coralville

He broke the first rule of selling a house - topo much clutter and too many pics on the wall. Too personalized except for the Linkliter man to buy. Wonder if he could dunk on his court like McD?

I'm not impressed with his sense of style. Maybe if the house were empty it would look like a better buy. :/

    Re: Nice Place In Coralville

Gonna need an old priest and a young priest before anybody can move into that one.

They had a realtor on the news not long ago that said it wouldn't stay on the market long. Lickliter has already said he isn't buying it, so my question is how much demand is there for a $1.6 million house in Coralville, IA?

    Re: Nice Place In Coralville

If money was no object, I would buy the house just to burn that hawkeye basement.

I think it would be tough to sell a house that is wasting so much space for a basketball court. Just think how much more could be done with that area. I'm thinking......indoor pool.

Unsure of the market there.... but it doesn't suprise me a realtor would say that. You have to create demand in the current state of the housing market. Supply and demand. See, I learnt myself somtin at skool.

There is so much money over here it's not even funny. Bowlsby's house sold for about the same amount of money within a week in Solon and I would expect this one to go soon.

    Re: Nice Place In Coralville

I don't trust a man with a small deck. I figure if you make that kind of money, you should have a big deck.

Where was the salon chair? You know, the swively kind with the pump lever to change the height next to the sink with the headrest and the shelves full of "product". The hair is an even greater mystery to me now.

And what's the deal with the b-ball court? Not enough $ to extend it a few more feet to get a true full court?
