What not to name your son

Here's an article about an Ohio State fan naming his son Tressel Hayes.

    http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2830476

I'm thinking Chizik McCarney, or Walden Criner rolls off the tongue. On the BB side, Floyd Morgan would actually work!

Re: What not to name your son

A few years ago a guy in Colorado named his son Esspin or something like that after ESPN. Maybe he spelled it the same way, but it was pronounced Esspin. I'd rather be named Koont than any of those...

Re: What not to name your son

I remember hearing about someone in Iowa (I think he was one of those career criminals) who named his 2 boys Colorado and Rocky because his favorite team was the Colorado Rockies...

There was an article in the Rag a few years ago about some guy who had twins or triplets and named them after members of the EIU O-line.

    Richard Moorehead.

I was watching a basketball game a number of years ago and that was the name of the head coach. The team he coached for...?

    Morehead State.

I did a an internet search to try to find a link to this and I couldn't. Yet I swear this is correct.

Re: What not to name your son

I worked at a school where a mother named her daughter Sobriety. She was the only one of the 6-7 kids born when the mom was alcohol/drug free. How would you like to be the college kid at the party named Sobriety??

Forgot to add that I came across a girl in the same school district named Tequila (pronounced Tuh-kwee-luh) Now there's an opportunity for an instant friendship.

My youngest brother was born in '96, Parents named him Timothy Daniel after ISU's 2 coaches at the time.

I've only seen pets named that, but I guess my dog's name is Trice.
I liked it for a child's name but my wife put the Kibosh on that.

My cousin is currently in High School and has a classmate named Lute Olson.

Off the topic of disturbed Parents who love the Hawks and hate their children though, this name sure sucks:
