    Bo Williams....

I for one am looking for big things from Bo this season. He will know the offense, has shown his speed and talent, and could be a nice compliment to ARob! He leads the team in yards per rush I believe. Go Bo! Others thoughts?

    Re: Bo Williams....

I don't see it happening. After attending the recruiting party at 3Bag with the coaches I expect to see more of Shontrelle Johnson than Bo Williams.

But A-Rob is still the man this year, clearly. I'm hoping the fellas don't go through the rough patch running the ball like the team did this year when he was hurt this past season.

Very original, I haven't seen a post like this before

    Re: Bo Williams....

If he can pick up the other essential aspects of being a Big 12 RB (blocking, not fumbling, catching out of the backfield), then I will be very excited to see what he can do with the ball in his hands.

I hope to not see Bo much. I'd like to see A-Rob for a full season.

    Re: Bo Williams....

I heard he has struggled with some of the mental aspects especially in regards to who he needs to pick up blocking wise. Would be great to see him pick up on that and get to the field because he has shown the kind of break away speed to really become a threat. But you can't put him on the field if he's a giveaway to the D.

Did a bit of editing. He could be a good football player, but it's all about what type of work he has put in during the off season. From what I hear...it hasnt been much.

    Re: Bo Williams....

With Bo's lack of ability to remember plays, we probably won't see him much.

We do, however need another back to help out Arob. I am not counting on Johnson to do that his freshman year.

I hope Bo learns atleast some of the playbook this year, if not we may see the other Beau on the field.

    Re: Bo Williams....

He's been here for two years, and apparently hasn't figured out much in those two years. I don't have a lot of hope for him. If he does produce, great! If not, I won't be shocked unfortunately.

    Re: Bo Williams....

There's no reason why he shouldn't be better at blocking. He's bigger than any back we'll have, but the times I've seen him in blocking drills in practice, he wasn't comparable to ARob or Schwartz. He has an entire offseason to work on it, but IMO there's only so much improvement you can make. I think that it's somewhat of a natural talent/instinct. IF he can get the blocking down, he's going to see plenty of time. But if I were to predict, I'd bet that he'll end up 3rd or 4th string.

    Re: Bo Williams....

A-rob is pretty freaking fast too when he's not gimpy with a groin injury. Last year it was obvious when he got into the open field that he wasn't able to turn on his jets because the groin was holding him back.

You can spend a lot of time and money picking out the perfect floral bouquet for your date ... but you're probably better off checking if you have bad breath and taking the porn out of the glove compartment.

The moral: you gain more by not being stupid, than you do by being smart. Smart gets neutralized by other smart people. Stupid does not.

    Re: Bo Williams....

I'm with Ketel on the Bo love. I would love to see him be the legit #2 guy and get playing time in each game. He's definitely a sentimental favorite of mine. When he checked in against A&M, was very excited.

    Re: Bo Williams....

Coach Rhoads and his staff did nothing this year that would lead me to question their evaluation of a player, or question their reasoning for who sees/doesn't see the field. I trust them to play Bo if he is a legit #2, and keep him on the bench if there is someone that is more worthy of that playing time.

    Re: Bo Williams....

He will be buried on the depth chart and go down as one of the most over rated players in ISU history. He will rival Patrick Webster.
