Did JP self report WM's Improprieties?

There have rumors and allegations of WM not doing things right. There were supposedly improprieties and infractions during his tenure. Did JP self-report these violations to the NCAA? Or was he involved in a "cover-up" whereby these were swept under the carpet?

    Or,

Were there no violations and WM was fired for performance? In which case, a massive double standard is being set here, and WM has grounds for a lawsuit?

Re: Did JP self report WM's Improprieties?

Just to be clear. Are you suggesting there were no violations and that they were made up? If that is the case then yes WM would have grounds but I would think he probably would have acted on that.

If there were violations then IMO I think JP had every right to let him go. Right or wrong he had justification.

I do not know the real answer to your question.

Last I saw, he was let go because of the state of the program. State of the program means many different things and isn't based solely on W-L.

There are other factors as well like the current economy na dht financial status of the athletic department

He was investigated for a scheduling infraction by the NCAA. Big deal, no. But given the state of the basketball program, it was easy to see the termination coming.

Why would Wayne Morgan sue? He has the best job- get paid a ton of money to do nothing.

Not a big deal except that he was burning up athletic department money for something that could have easily been done in house.

That wasn't the only reason, but it certainly was the icing on the cake so to speak.

Walking on water is easy. Just do it in December when it's frozen.

Based on results, how the hell would you describe McD?

I would describe him a good coach with a solid resume who has failed miserably to continue that success at ISU.

Wayne was a great recruiter with no game day skills, but talent alone can win you a fair share of games that is a fact.
