Why hasn't McD recruited a point guard for 2010?

A point guard is very similar in importance to a basketball team that a quarterback is to a football team. Most football programs (including ISU) recruit at least one quarterback every year, sometimes two or three. So why are there no point guards at all in the 2010 recruiting class? We need one badly. Preferably a JuCo, so he can fill in and provide depth right away, but a high school PG woud be good, too, if he was good enough.

The only answer that I can think of is that McD is relying on Colvin to grow and develop. But, again, no smart football coach would depend on only one quarterback, so I don't understand why McD is doing this with ISU's point guard. (As many people have pointed out, Garrett is not really a point guard)

Who the hell is Collins? Nevermind that though.... the point is that GMAC will God willing not be our coach next year.

    1) Who is Collins?

    2) How is Garrett not a PG?

    3) We have 4 coming back from this years team

    4) How are we only depending on one PG for next year

    5) This whole post confuses me

PG isnt the problem, we have enough of them. Need a really really good shooting guard.

According to rivals, Phillips is a shooting guard. That still puts us down to one point guard, Colvin. Re-read my message...

FYI.... We need anybody that is really really good. Doesn't matter what position at this point. We also need a new coach that is really really good. Not GMAC good.... I mean really good... like the guy in my sig line picture.

He will bring a lot of those really really good players you are asking for to Ames.

    1) OK, Colvin.

    2) Have you watched ANY of the games this year? If Garrett was a PG, we'd have at least 7 conference wins.

    3) Who are the other two?

    4) I've only seen Garrett and Colvin play PG, and Garrett is horrible at it.

    5) You must be easily confused.
