Rams and Eagles have conversations about McNabb

St. Louis Post-Dispatch - The Rams have had conversations with the Eagles about quarterback Donovan McNabb, a source told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

The trading period begins next week with the NFL Draft looming in mid-April.

St. Louis could get some high-round picks as compensation for their free agents, including Alex Barron, which could help them put a package together for McNabb

This would be such a slam dunk for St. Louis. They can probably pick him up for less than he's really worth too since he's so despised in Philly.

I really don't get some of the Eagles fans out there. McNabb, by nearly all accounts, has been a fantastic quarterback for them, and yet it seems that every offseason there are trade talks. I guess the grass is always greener.

Clear example of how Philly fans are idiots. With the exception of TO for one season, who has McNabb had to throw to lately? And with TO they went to the Super Bowl that season. Perhaps the fans should be more upset with the front office for never giving McNabb anyone to throw at. I mean, yeah, a great QB makes his WRs better. Well, what would you say McNabb has been doing considering his receiving corps and the fact they're a playoff contender virtually every year?

While McNabb doesn't have a whole bunch of years left, Philly - and their fans - will live to regret this and St Louis will have scored a major coup if this comes to pass.

While I agree with you, don't sell DeSean Jackson short. That guy can flat out get it done. But, prior to his arrival, two seasons ago, Philly receivers were nothing to write home about.

As an Eagles fan, this disturbs me. Guess we will have to go with dog killer next year.

McNabb is not a reliable leader and that's the problem. Fine when things are going well but at the first sign of trouble - his wheels come off.

It's not a good fit for St. Louis because McNabb isn't a quarterback that can frequently make the people around him better.

It probably has to do with basically every Philadelphia sports fan being just awful, awful people.

Re: Rams and Eagles have conversations about McNabb

FOX Philly - Eagles coach Andy Reid is the only member of the team's front office that is holding up a trade involving Donovan McNabb, according to FOX Philly.

Reports have indicated that McNabb could be dealt soon and sources told FOX 29 that the Rams, contrary to popular belief, aren't one of the interested teams

    Interesting. I wonder what teams?
